In 2015, Marie Shanley almost took her life for the first time. After the incident, she promised herself that if she ever felt better, she would help make sure that no one ever felt as alone and uninformed as she did in those moments. In 2017, she created Mxiety, a live talk show around mental health education, along with a website dedicated to gathering reliable resources and sharing her story in an informed way.
