Haunted by a troubled past, Tear wanders the world with her companions, Yulah and Ixie, hunting demons. In their travels, they meet two lovers, Rii and Asha, and Rii''s fox familiar, Kal. When Tear bears witness to the magic Rii and Asha wield to purify demonic corruption, she resolves herself to learn more.
