Most other folks couldn't believe it either, Burt and Clancy with their cat, who had no name, looking for paradise. They got the idea over a barrel of pickled pig's feet. The giant and wise old sea turtle told them that paradise was across the ocean; the king bullfrog, Thor, and his warrior frogs had sailed there on their lily pad raft with sails.  Burt and Clancy had no lily pad raft with sails, but Captain Jack said he had been to paradise many times and could take them there in his boat, Utopia. Once out to sea, he made them run his plank after robbing them of what little they had. Their lives were in danger, to be sure, but the mighty current called "e;Swabbies' Revenge"e; swept the three ashore where they found a wandering minstrel and his pet mongoose.  The minstrel comforted them with his many beautiful songs of paradise, but he told them he didn't know where paradise was.  Deciding to walk around the ocean to get to the other side, where paradise could be found, they became lost in a desert where Prospector Pete was searching for his lost city of gold. It had eluded him ever since he first saw it, but he did point the three to the distant mountains that they could pass through to get to the ocean. It was in these mountains that they came upon the Spirit of the Sacred Valleys. She appeared to them as a humble old woman in need, so they offered her the beans and sourdough biscuits Prospector Pete had given them. It was after this that the three travelers unexpectedly found themselves on an island. Clancy wanted off. How were they going to find paradise if they were stranded on an island, he protested. He built a raft, but the ocean tossed it back upon the beach and crushed it into the sand with its mighty waves. Searching for another way off the island, the three came upon the giant king bullfrog, Thor, and his warrior frogs. After much persuasion, Thor's counsel of wise frogs was unable to convince Clancy that there was no finer place to live than here, and he should stay.
