Ventilator-associated pneumonia

The study is a doctoral research project aimed at determining the frequency of ventilator-associated pneumonia caused by Pseudomonas aeruginosa, identifying the metallo-beta-lactamase-producing phenotype through phenotypic and genotypic testing. It is worth noting that the risk factors of the patients involved were analysed, in addition to the use of molecular biology techniques, which are essential in the field of microbiology.
