Uprising 2050

For an entire year Christine, a mother of two young children, doesn't know how or why her husband and twenty three other people disappeard into thin air with leaving a trace. Then after a year she learns why they disappeared. The people responsible for her grief were and will still be her friends. She knows the strangeness of her convictions but can only go on with the feelings that are in her heart. The story takes place during the mid twenty first century; a time when the country is just getting used to a national make over. Once again the U. S. is recognized as a world leader. Both state and federal governments have found their niche. Accompanying Christine's loss comes a demand from a group of people that may result in a catastrophic upheaval. The U. S. may once again be forced to make major changes. No one really knows how the demands will affect the nation or the world for that matter.
