Universal Design and the Elderly

This book addresses the principles of Universal Design for older people with an emphasis on the bathroom and bedroom. It is the first volume of a collection dedicated to the care of elderly people. The book describes the current context related to the issue of accessibility in the elderly and suggests the main interventions to be carried out in the elderly's bedroom and bathroom. The book was written by a physiotherapist and revised by a psychologist, both of whom work with the elderly.
