Two Flags One Legacy

This narrative is a biography of a man who fought in World War II and served in two different armies during that same war: the German Army and the United States Army. Without knowing the full context, one might wonder if he was a spy, traitor, patriot, or something even more enigmatic. As his son, I am proud of my father, and our entire family should be as well. Without him, none of his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren would be here to carry on his legacy.
