Twisted Nature of Man

This book is an attempt to appraise the reasons behind man's behavior. It is not in any way a condemnation of the nature of man. It is rather an explanation of his action, his inaction and sometimes his silence or passivity. When things happen or do not happen, there are explanations for why they have or have not happened. The things that have happened may be bad but the reasons for them happening may not necessarily be bad. Quite often we only look at the effects of the happenings. This book is intended to take us a little deeper into the underlying causes of our behavior as I see them. The twisted nature of man is an effort to put into words some of the very essential things I have come to have faith in. I have therefore written this book with the trust that many who read it, would appraise and appreciate not only the nature of other people, but theirs as well. When we see other people with the same light that we see ourselves, the world would surely become a more accommodating and happier home for all of us. This book is written in very simple language in order to reach out to the widest readership.. Although I have used examples from the Bible, the book cuts across denominational and religious barriers. It also cuts across social, political, and cultural barriers. It is therefore a book for all people and for all seasons. While there is one main link throughout the book, each chapter can be taken in isolation from the rest for its own value. You can read through all its pages in one evening. You may then re-read different chapters which interest you most. I trust that when you shall have gone through this little book, you will agree with me that Man's Nature is truly twisted
