Transitional Justice in Colombia

The peace agreements in Colombia have been the subject of controversy and criticism, and have been the focus of discussion among different political sectors and among the general public. It is therefore necessary to carefully review the historical context of the armed conflict with the FARC-EP guerrillas, and the provisions of the amnesty and pardon law, transitional justice and international humanitarian law. Bearing in mind this articulated and contextualised view of jurisprudence, it is possible to understand the main objective of the peace agreements with the FARC.
