Therapeutic counselling in psycho-oncology

The book offers an introduction to the author's work in her internship supervision practices in Psycho-Oncology. It highlights a field of training in Health Psychology that links Therapeutic Support, Oncology and Psychology, specifically Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. This field was named by the author as Therapeutic Counselling in Psycho-oncology - ATPO. She goes through some important concepts for the training of undergraduate students in the health field, pointing out the main problems of patients facing cancer at different stages of development: children, adults and the elderly. It doesn't neglect the everyday problems of contemporary society, such as gender issues and other political aspects of social inclusion.
