Be careful what you wish for. . . After breaking up with her long term boyfriend, Freya is in a rut. Working a dead end job with debts mounting up she longs to escape. So when she hears about The Wishing Well, an app where wealthy donors grant wishes for deserving strangers, she decides she has nothing to lose. Within days, a donor known only as Anon grants her wish for 'escape' and Freya is gifted a stay in an isolated country cottage, rent free. The cottage is perfect and Freya finally has the freedom to focus on her dreams. However, not everything is as it seems, a young woman has gone missing in the nearby hills and Freya finds herself entangled in the investigation into her disappearance.
