Monday 21st March 1910, Didcot Berkshire Simon Edwards has no immediate desire to find a wife and settle down but when he meets Dotty Harrison during a train ride he finds himself drawn to her and they share a dance together. Despite Dotty's impending marriage he can't stop himself from hoping that they may be they could together... Dotty Harrison has enough to worry about; with her move to Didcot and her impending marriage to a man she can't stand. The last thing she needs is for things to become complicated, so when she meets Simon and his vast family she does what she can to keep her distance. Unfortunately the Edwards aren't the kind who take no for an answer and Dotty finds she likes having friends but she holds a secret and worries what will happen if it comes out...
