The Practice of Saying Goodbye

In the transience of transience there is yet a certain aftertaste that remains and a less certain but still distinct foretaste of what is to come. Time, and words, too, are both over-wrought bearers of truths. I will not say anything of worth has been given utterance here, but in the creaking and groaning of the trees there is sometimes more than just the wind.
