The Noah Challenge

The Noah Challenge is an interactive book, written by author Vanessa Darko, that focuses on the biblical story of Noah, who accepted God's unbelievable assignment to build an ark before God flooded the earth. We discover throughout the book, that Noah's willingness to obey God's seemingly impossible command, is no different from the "ark assignments" that God gives each of us. Vanessa does an excellent job uniting the story of Noah with today's generation by asking if readers felt that God was prompting them toward a larger than life project or goal that they may have been putting off? She speaks into the hearts of readers through sharing her hesitance of writing a book, which she finally accomplished over the course of ten years, with The Noah Challenge. As readers explore what ark assignments God may have in store, Vanessa challenges them to embark on a daily walk with God. She assists in starting this challenge by providing a thirty-day journaling activity to connect readers with God's Word and, ultimately, God.
