The Light Keeper

Sixteen-year-old Elana Chambers feels trapped in her mundane life-until, that is, she finds herself involved with Jake, a mysterious stranger who claims to have been sent to collect her to fulfil an ethereal duty. As Jake finds himself at his wits end trying to deliver his charge despite her best efforts to escape, Elana struggles to accept her fate as the Light Keeper, responsible for keeping a reign of evil at bay. As the duo travel across the countryside on their way to the Light Keeper's watchtower, they soon learn that neither one of them has ever been in control of their destiny, no matter how much they believed that they were.
