The Helper's Apprentice

Filled with humor and insight, The Helper's Apprentice is a series of six multicultural mystery novels, each centered around a distinct case: The Case of the Scary Divorce, The Case of the Scary Stepfather, The Case of the Scary Middle School, The Case of the Scary Boyfriend, The Case of the Scary High School, and The Case of the Scary Illness.

The series follows a young boy's journey from late elementary school to high school as he unexpectedly becomes the assistant to Professor Jackson Skye, an African American former military street psychologist. Through Professor Skye's unconventional methods, the boy is pushed to develop problem-solving skills that not only help him navigate his own challenges but also assist others he encounters along the way.
