The Great Wheel weaves together British myth, legend and history. From the founding of Britain by Brutus, the grandson of Aeneas, to the death of King Arthur, spirituality and war are threaded into a single strand. It is the story of Britain in the age of miracles, encompassing historic and cosmic cycles from the destruction of Troy and the death of the pagan gods to the founding and growth of Christianity.
