The Far Side of the Sea

In A.D. 52, Thomas, an apostle of Jesus Christ, traveled to India to spread the Gospel. He planted seven churches along the Malabar Coast and later traveled to Tamil Nadu, where an angry mob of pagan worshipers attacked and killed him. Would those who killed Thomas succeed in killing the emerging churches also?

The author addresses this and other questions, recounting successes, failures, and stories of personal sacrifice over the next 20 centuries. By the end of this book, the reader will have identified church-planting principles that are effective for India and any other country where the people of God will persevere and seek God's glory.
