Based on a folktale from France, the Enchanted Apple Tree tells the story of an old lady and her apple tree. Her apples are taken by everyone in her village without anyone ever asking. Then, one day a traveler knocks on her door, politely asking to pick one of the apples, and the traveler grants the old lady a magic wish Children will have lots of practice ordering numerals 1 to 5 as they engage with the story and discover an apple tree that never stops producing juicy, ripe apples when people say please and thank you.
