The Dovote; or the Art of Breeding Pigeons: A Poem

This is a special re-print edition of Joseph Davidson's legendary book "the Dovecote: The Art of Breeding Pigeons". Published in England in 1740, this is considered one of the earliest works on raising pigeons. The work actually takes the form of a 30 page long poem devoted to pigeon keeping, but is surprisingly informative on the subject. Note: This edition is a perfect facsimile of the original edition and is not set in a modern typeface.
