This is a biography of a boy from rural Maine and his journey to become a doctor and finally returning to rural Maine to take care of his beloved people. These stories tell of the variety of patient problems and homemade solutions. His wife, Margaret, was his able assistant and was always there to help him. The stories follow Doc as he puts on his work clothes and enjoy his hobbies. He was an avid hunter and protector of the environment. He enjoyed the challenge of working on construction projects, building log houses and masonry work with stone., learning from each endeavor.
