The Book of Rose

This collection of short stories welcomes you to the world of Rose MacLeod. A world filled with lake captains and lawyers, cops and bootleggers, ministers and killers, legendary hockey heroes and always the birds. She lived for a century on the western shores of Lake Superior and she was much loved by God. She carried that love everywhere she went, spreading kindness and ecouragement, creating joys in the days of everyone she met, always treating loved ones and strangers alike. She lived through wars and Depression and although her life had not always been easy she was at one with her world and with her God. Above the door to her home she'd painted the words All Are Welcome Here and those are the words she lived by.
