So why can I not enjoy the fall as much as the rise? The Bliss is in the Stumble is an exploration of the descent to soul and finding my unique voice in the world. It's about the exploration of what it means to be lost. What happens when life presents its little surprises packed with hooks and nails? Can we see the difficult time in our life as gifts, or do they tear us down and take our spirit for living away? How do we find resilience? How do we stay passionate about life with all of life's challenges and losses? These are topics that have become the driving passion of my life. Inspired by Franciscan Fr. Richard Rohr, extensive work with guide to soul Bill Ploktin (Soulcraft), and over 25 years seeking a life of sobriety through the 12 steps and Zen mediation, my provocative poetry sings praises for a return to the Earth and a connection to Universal realities that are sure to please.
