I mean, so would you, if you saw it used every day. After all, our town wizard and his apprentice could summon rain, or make crops grow in spurts fast enough that you could actually see them getting bigger.

The strange thing is, it was when I saw what I thought was my first portal that I found out magic wasn't real.
