The Allards Book Four: The Voyageur

The fourth in a series of eight historical novels which trace the lives of the French-Canadian-Detroit Allard family beginning in France in the 1600's and proceeding through Quebec then to Detroit, Book Four, The Voyageur, follows the fourth generation in the New World. As before, the author brings these people and their history to life. The book will be enjoyed by anyone interested in French-Canadian history and genealogy. This volume follows a young man through his early life as a voyageur to the farthest frontier ending in D troit during Pontiac's War through the American Revolution and the eventual American take over of the City of D troit.
