Teachable Moments "The Cognitive Approach" Teachable moments are the comprehension of ideas with acquired experience through sound practical judgment. Please let me attempt to explain: Life is a progression of experiences, phases, and seasons. Therefore the choice is yours to enhance and develop through Knowledge (Acquaintances gained by sight, experience, or report), Understanding (To grasp the significant, implications, or importance of a thing), and Wisdom (Sound practical judgment that is established from knowledge and understanding) to gain, preserve and hopefully shared with the next generation in the form of enrichment and eventually transformed into the application of Life. I am in pursuit of building a legacy and my primary tool is teaching within the moment. This affirms lessons are taught and hopefully never forgotten. +
