Talking Box

This is a true story I was telling my grand children. They were astonished when they heard that only radio in the neighborhood. They live with computers, iphones, ipads, etc

Even today, every time I see them, they don''t allow me to go without telling them a story. This is one of the stories which reflects the life in Jerusalem at years of the 30''s and 40''s of the 20th century.

Jerusalem was a small town; a few people had a radio at home. People did not know and did not hear about radio.

This gives you the background of life in Israel at the last century - kind of housing, unpaved streets and windows where one can see who and how people live.

This story will give the reader who reads the story to his/her children a vision of life in other parts of the world.
