Taiwan Betrayed

A bed that had no mattress but just a nasty, dirty looking sleeping bag on top and below it old blankets that looked ancient. Two suitcases that had cobwebs on them as did a fan. Other items that showed it had never been slept in and had been all there much longer than two years that he claimed he had this room. The room looked like a cover he used or maybe even a place he had once kept kidnapped victims. A corner had a pile of random items that didn't make sense for him to have and felt like they were some sort of trophies from past victims. I automatically thought he had to be a criminal, spy, or both. I flew to Taiwan to get a diagnosis of a condition that could put me in a coma or kill me at any time, to figure out what was wrong with my health condition was the main reason I went. Yet, I was going to do a lot more than that, even if it killed me.
