Switching Modulator Optimization in Isolated Power Converters

This book introduces engineering students and practitioners to the theoretical and applied aspects of the optimization of switching modulation techniques in isolated power electronic converters. Recent modifications to the architecture of converter systems require understanding of switching strategies for different types of power converters and how they affect the systems’ performance. This book presents the pulse width modulation (PWM), pulse frequency modulation (PFM), and phase modulation (PM) methodologies in power electronic converters.
