Classrooms are richer, more vibrant learning spaces when all students are included. Although a diverse group of students may pose challenges, teachers can overcome these challenges and invite all students to become engaged learners, both academically and socially.

Student Diversity presents many examples of teachers working together to improve their teaching practice—from the primary and early years to middle school and the secondary years. It offers insights into all aspects of literacy instruction along with frameworks for successfully integrating mathematics and other subject areas into powerful learning opportunities.
