Space pirates and the Senator's secret

Introduction of Hawkins' diverse and eccentric crew:  Zola, the brilliant but quirky engineer;  Jax, the gruff but loyal first mate;  and Pip, a surprisingly adept navigator despite his youthful appearance.  The scene is aboard the "e;Stardust"e;, their battered but beloved spaceship.  We see glimpses of their individual personalities and their easy camaraderie, evident in their playful banter and teasing interactions. The ship is depicted as a chaotic but functional home, reflecting the crew's spirit.
