Seven Days - Miniatures for guitar

Seven Days - Miniatures for guitar (2010) by Jennah Vainio combines elements from different musical styles —such as classical, metal, blues, and flamenco— into a new and cohesive whole. The work portrays the full range of emotions experienced over the course of a week, from the rush of Monday morning to Friday night partying. To perform the suite in its entirety, the musician must be familiar with playing styles from both the classical and rock traditions. The piece may be performed either as a seven-movement suite or with individual movements played separately.
