Are you addicted to distractions? What if God sent a message, especially to you, but you missed it because you were consumed with the latest trending topic or updating your location for social media likes. How often do you update your Facebook status or check your twitter feed? While social networking is essential, it is much more important to live life on purpose while taking personal responsibility for your spiritual growth. For adolescents and many adults, it is a challenge to stay focused during religious services and biblical instruction.Many are preoccupied with continuous notifications and alerts on their smart devices. While distractions are inevitable, you can't afford to be distracted. Living life on purpose requires diligence and intentionality in your daily walk. Distractions take away from what is truly important and rob you of the ability to get clarity on what God is conveying to you about your destiny.
