Selected Writings

Selected Writings from the Rockfish River Valley is edited and published by Wayne H. Drumheller. It is a collection of short stories, tales, essays and poems selected from the 20 finalists in the 2019 Rockfish River Valley Writers' Contest. A top over all prize valued at $350 was given for the best overall entry. The Rockfish River Valley Writers "Narrative Short Stories, Tales/Essays and Poetry" Contest was open to residents who lived, worked, or attended school, or lived, worked, visited, or attended school in the Rockfish River Valley, or has participated in a writing event or workshop sponsored by the Rockfish River Valley Writers or the Creative Short Book Writers Project, regardless of age, gender, or writing category and has a writing interest that is related to, or uniquely identified, with the Rockfish River Valley of Nelson County, Virginia.
