<p>Using the frameworks of literary theory relevant to modern fantasy, Dr. Joseph Young undertakes a compelling examination of George R. R. Martin’s <i>A Song of Ice and Fire</i> and his employment of the structural demands and thematic aptitudes of his chosen genre.
