Rory Bean and the Reluctant Ghosts

Rory’s parents own and run The Gruffydd Arms in a quiet village in South Wales. It is twelve-year-old Rory’s home, and he loves living in it. So, when a ‘for sale’ sign appears, Rory is devastated. Rory’s parents aren’t making enough money to keep the pub and then there’s the little matter of it being haunted. Rory hatches a plan to prevent the move to Dorset. If ‘The Gruff’ is no longer haunted, the customers will return and his parents will stay so Rory and best friend, Bea, seek the help of a local witch. She makes Rory a special potion that he can dust the ghosts with to make them visible and, once Rory can see the ghosts, he just needs to have a reasonable conversation with them and ask them to leave his home.
