Rolo the Pet Earthling

On planet Blorx, young green Zira is finally old enough to get her very own pet earthling, Rolo! Life in his new home with Zira and her family is full of joyful play, until her brother disappears. Zira and her older sister then grow apart, while Rolo grows bored of the routine pet life. When he sees blorxling protestors for earthling rights, he wonders if he could be more than just a pet. Then the overzealous robots of the Animal Control Force chase him, and he gets lost in the big city. He must find his way home, but first, now off-leash for the first time, he seeks clues about the mysterious origins of earthlings, the mythical planet Earth. Zira and her sister find him to bring him home, but he wants to go find Earth instead. Zira feels abandoned, and she and her sister must finally face the loss of their brother. Soon the robots capture them, and Rolo must escape to go home, wherever home may be.A cleverly comical and genuinely heartfelt tale of growing up and letting go in this upside-down world.
