Road Behind Me

It is an autobiographical account mostly told in oral narrative style by Dave Tilford, a third generation resident of White Pine County, Nevada. The narrative contains stories about his personal journey as an active civic participant, but also provides much to record historical, cultural, and geographical accounts of the region.It was written mostly for his family and friends, but there is very little history of this remote part of the Great Basin, so anyone with an interest in regional history would find it of interest. It could easily find an audience in visitors to museums and visitor centers in Nevada.
