Resort Days A Memoir

Resort Days is a story of coming of age at a Muskoka, Ontario, Canada summer resort. It follows the exploits of the author, Ray Love, as he navigates a series of summer jobs at his family''s resort. With eight hundred acres of forest and over a mile of shoreline on one of the prestigious Muskoka Lakes, it was an ideal place for a boy to seek adventure.

You will meet and read stories of the guests, staff, family members and pets that made for a memorable upbringing.  It is a tale of the rhythm of two seasons, the busy summer tourist season and the isolation of winter in a very small village.

It is set in the turbulent 60''s and demonstrates the influence that the news media had on a young man, his friends and classmates. Finally it is a true story designed to entertain and inform.
