Nurses and physician's don't always understand that you can't change health care by merely making an argument about what's wrong with it and expecting Administration to fix it. Administration doesn't know how to fix the major problems on the front line. Front-line workers often have the answers, it's merely a matter of helping them to figure it out and articulate it in a way that Administration can't help but approve, because it makes so much sense system wise and economically. The key to that is Project Management Project Management is the application of knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques to address the needs of a specific situation. It involves getting the key stakeholders to define the beginning, ending, and goals to be achieved and then having the right people (front line workers and leaders) to solve the challenges in an effective way that is sustainable.
