The pack contains both fiction and non-fiction titles, on a range of topics and text types. These books correspond to Phase 4 of Letters and Sounds, and match any phonics programme that follows the Letters and Sounds order to introduce new phonemes and graphemes. The words are all decodable which means they are made up of phonics that children can put together to decode the word..

16 ''blend'' title that introduce just simple blends (CVCCs and CCVCs) as well as the new CEWs met in this phase.

23 ''blend-plus'' titles that then introduce some more complex blends (polysyllabic CVCCs/CCVCs, CCVCCs etc).
