Read Write Inc. Fresh Start: Module Green Word Cards

This 2017 edition of Read Write Inc. Fresh Start rescues pupils aged 9 and above who are below age-related expectations, using a phonics-based approach. Read Write Inc. Fresh Start gives older pupils who have not yet cracked the 'code of reading' the chance to catch up and become confident, fluent readers and writers - enabling them to access the secondary curriculum. The Module Green Word Cards feature over 300 decodable words from the Modules and reflect the greater emphasis on vocabulary. On one side of the card, dots and dashes are used to show the graphemes in the word. On the other side, there is an explanation of the word in the context of how it appears in the Module text for the teacher to read out to the group.
