These free verse, experimental poems show us that Jennifer Kilgore-Caradec has been influenced by Ezra Pound, the Beats and/or Whitman, but also Language poets. She uses anaphora, aeration, epigraphs, different stanza lengths, creates shape poems and ars poeticas. She freely associates, allowing the words and thoughts to take her wherever they do.
