It tells about the city of Port Said and its people, and the hidden world in that city full of secrets and human stories. The writer also monitors - through his realistic experience - the surface and bottom of the city, and his observations of the whales of openness and smugglers. It is considered one of the experimental novels that used a variety of times and narration methods, without falling into the trap of repetition or gossip, using internal monologue in many scenes to create an atmosphere of intimacy between him and the recipient.
