Recollections and reflections in the life of a share cropper's son, beginning with my earliest memory at age 4 when I lived on a tenant farm in Johnston County, North Carolina with my brothers and sisters. Included are many tales about growing-up in and around Lizard Lick, North Carolina. There was never a dull moment in our part of the 'Wood Pile.'
