After 35 years of teaching reading-challenged children, Mary Pecci discovered her students fell into the same three reading TRAPS:

• Difficulty making the transition from "decodable" text to "real English" text.
• Difficulty handling the numerous sounds for many letters and letter combinations.
• Difficulty handling the constant influx of "sight" words

Mary designed Pre-Primers I, II, and III in the Pecci Reading Series as a companion to the At Last A Reading Method for EVERY Child instructional manual. These books are intended to help children AVOID the three traps and to successfully learn to read without a struggle.
