Poems From a Tender-Heart

I have had more childhood and adult trauma combined than a cat has lives.  While it took decades to happen, all of it forged me into a man who writes poetry from the heart.  Without that suffering and trauma, I wouldn't be able to compose a verse.  I use my ability to lessen the impact that trauma has on my life on a daily basis.  I feel as if I am my own best therapist as I listen to my heart and put my feelings and thoughts to paper.
