Pickman Provenance

A provenance researcher at a generative image company is asked to explain why a banned model produces images matching sealed crime-scene photographs from a century before the internet. The training data says the artist does not exist. The pictures say he is still feeding the model. To stop the company from turning the anomaly into a product story, Anika Rowe must confess how she once helped launder stolen images into datasets and build a record that names the dead before the machine can make them property again.
