Physician of Simot

Tribes of ChalentBook 3Kalani grew up knowing that her tribe would not allow her to become a physician, but she never let that stop her from studying hard and sneaking into the infirmary to help. A desperate desire to get out of Simot leads the chief's daughter to act drastically. When her cousin offers her a position in Barnet that will allow her not only the freedom she seeks, but also the opportunity to help the entirety of Chalent, she won't let the opportunity pass. When she agrees to help, she has no idea of the dangers that await. Growing up under his sister's administration leaves a shadow over Oblam's entrance into adulthood. When the garrison commander begins to act strangely, even to the point of challenging the chief, Oblam can't let his friend leave without trying to help him reunite with his loved ones. Following Asher out of the garrison sets off events that will let Oblam prove himself, but possibly with a cost he never imagined needing to pay.
