Since the fall of the Berlin Wall and the demise of Communism, a false sense of security pervades our lives. We have become complacent since the great threat to our security was defeated. Unfortunately, we are no safer now than when the threat of Communism was present. First, the bombing of the World Trade Center should have been a wake-up call. Subsequent bombings, attempted bombings, hijackings, terrorist attacks and multitudes of other threats only further echoed things yet to come. Then finally, the destruction of the World Trade Centers twin towers and the damage to the Pentagon aroused that sleeping giant. Now we must not become complacent but instead we must keep our defenses intact and be ever vigilant to threats from within and without our borders. The coming of the 2002 winter Olympics to Salt Lake City provides yet another venue for Terror to strike. The story, which follows, is only one scenario of what can happen!
